Wisteria Vine in Onomichi Korakuen (Paradise)

This beautiful path is about 100 meters of Wisteria Vines. It is common park decor in Japan, but I have not seen such a long stretch of these old vines end in a view of the Seto Inland Sea (Setouchi). In Japanese it is called Fuji no Ki (藤の木) I hope to see it when they bloom in the Spring.

The path is not marked on Google Maps yet, but here is the GPS location. It is just north of the Onomichi Korakuen (Onomichi Paradise) park, where the STU48 video ends. It's a great stop on your way up or down Mt. Senkoji.

Below is a photo of one of the vines. They can grow so heavy that larger "trees" must be supported to hold up their weight.
